The Winners of A Red Lipstick for Convivio 2012 are.....

Last week I shared with you  my photo entry  that I sent to compete for the top 20 images to the initiative A Red Lipstick for Convivio launched in collaboration with Viva Glam by Mac and Vogue Italia.

Results of the competition are in and I am extremely excited that my photo was chosen by the editorial staff to be exhibited and put on sale between 8th - 12th June during the 11th edition of Convivio in Milan, the charity market fair selling designer pieces to fund the Lombardy section of National association for the fight against AIDS.   Here is the link to review all 20 winning photos of this competition.

I am happy to be a part of this fundraiser against AIDS along with all major fashion designers, artists, actors, singers and all creative individuals who contribute to this great cause.  In the span of eighteen years, the Mac Aids Fund has raised $ 235 millions through the sale of 15.4 millions lipsticks and lip glosses which have all be donated to support the fight against AIDS.

A Red Lipstick for Convivio 2012

Today is the last day to submit photos for   A Red Lipstick for Convivio  2012.    You can see all photos submitted so far  HERE .  At the end, among the works that will arrive in the editorial office of  Vogue Italia  they will select 20 artworks, that later will be exhibited and put on sale during the  2012 Convivio,  the most important Exhibition market benefit organized in Italy.

In addition to my collage I posted yesterday, I sent my Harlequin Mask collage

and the photo I called The Light of Paris.  It is interesting that I bought my first red lipstick when visited Paris for the first time, and this is when my fascination with red lips started.  The book behind the photo The  Light of Paris by Assouline, is all about Paris. The same as red lipstick to me.

A Red Lipstick for Convivio 2012

Vogue Italia in partnership with Viva Glam by  MAC Cosmetics  invited all to interpret through photography the red lipstick for   Convivio 2012 .  All entries of red lips translated into photography  HERE 

 

You can see below one of my entries.  This collage is my interpretation of red lips and my memories of Paris. 

 

At the end, among the works that will arrive in the editorial office of  Vogue Italia  they will select 20 artworks, that later will be exhibited and put on sale during the  2012 Convivio,  the most important Exhibition market benefit organized in Italy, all proceeds of which shall be made over to Lombardy ANLAIDS.

About Viva Glam by MAC Cosmetics - the line created to support MAC AIDS FUND, the largest not pharmaceutical company funder of the fight against AIDS in the world, that has raised in 18 years 235 million dollars through the sale of 15,4 millions of lipsticks and lip glosses with the money raised being donated entirely to associations active in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
