Sunday Fashion Finds... Statement Necklaces

Statement necklaces are incredibly popular.  Here are some of the examples of large and beautiful necklaces we have in store for us for Fall/Winter 2012 season.   I like this trend and think that with some thoughts and creativity, you can make pretty good DIY project and end up with great and unique necklace.  I know I will be doing something like that.  What is your favorite pic?

Fashion Finds... Large Pockets

I love pockets and as you can see in my recent post  Large Leather Pockets DIY Project   I alway find the way to add pockets to my skirts if I can.

From the fashion history point of view, women not always had freedom to have pockets on their clothing.  It was a masculine gesture to put hands in the pockets.  Not surprisingly, Coco Chanel, who was inspired by masculine cuts and the comfort of men clothing, started making garments with large pockets for women.  Thank you Mademoiselle Chanel for this!  Fall/Winter 2012 season is all about large pockets and I love it.
