Another beautiful collection from great Karl. His latest Chanel Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection is luxuriously simple: simple in silhouette, but luxurious in its intricate embroidery. For example, one of the long pink coats looks like it is made from tweed, but is it not. Tweed pattern is embroidered, which took 3,000 hours to complete. Beautiful pink and gray colors of the collection were inspired by the palette of Marie Laurencin. I enjoyed this making of Fall/Winter 2012/13 Haute Couture in Rue Cambon ateliers video, from Karl Lagerfeld's sketches to the show.
