The Magic of a pop-up book

I always was fascinated by a pop-up books.  Maybe because it was unexpected to open the book and see pages unfold in front of your eyes in three dimensions instead of just flat 2 pages, I don't know, but every time I open a pop-up book, until these days,  it brings smile to may face and I think MAGIC!  I learned about Birdscapes by Miyoko Chu here and I love this book.  I imagine it would be a wonderful gift for any child and not only, as you can see from my honest confession...
