Dolce & Gabbana... Crayon Intense in Nude #9

I learned about Dolce & Gabbana Eyeliner Crayon Intense #9 in Nude from Pat McGrath video tutorial  on how to  create the look she did for Dolce & Gabbana FW 2012 show.  When I saw this video for the first time, I did not have this eyeliner yet, and was trying to recreate the look WITHOUT the pencil by using other products like light concealer, light eyeshadow, etc., but it was not the same.  Clearly it did not work.

Finally, I got the eyeliner and this is all what I expected it to be.  Eyes made up with this pencil look fresh, young, well rested, wide open, and how Pat McGrath is saying - "angelic."  What makes a big difference with other similar products?  This eyeliner has no shimmer in it, and at the same time it does not look dull or chalky.  When it is on the skin, what you see is not the makeup, but light and fresh nude color of your eye lids.  Mission accomplished!  Quality of this eyeliner is great.  It  goes on very smooth, without pulling the delicate skin around the eye and provides great coverage not only on the eye lids, but on the eye's waterline as well (the inner rim of the lower eye lid) which can be tricky, unless you have great eyeliner.  Don't skip the step with "waterline" nude color line, because this is what makes the look.

I love nude look of the eye makeup in combination with strong burgundy color on the lips and strong brows.  This picture from  FashionMag  illustrates what I am talking about.  Le me know if you had a chance to experiment with this look and how it worked for you.
